Dr. Joseph SiragusaDr. Siragusa received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Medical College of Virginia in 1999 and has been serving patients in Hampton Roads for 20 years. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and attends implant study clubs and continuing education classes regularly. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association & Peninsula Dental Society. Along with his wonderful wife of 26 years, Frances, Dr. Siragusa is a life long Hampton Roads native. They live on the Peninsula with their 20 year old son Will, their 18 year old daughter Julia, beagal mix Sandy & havanese, Chewy. His hobbies include spending time with his family, fishing and enjoying all that this great area offers.  Chaun Tarver - Hygienist Chaun is life-long native of Hampton. After graduating from Kecoughtan High School in the year- none of your business, she started working for her father, John Tarver, D.D.S. as a dental assistant. In 1995 she received her B.S. in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University. As a Sagittarius, she is a modern day intellectual who loves the color pink and is currently between husbands. She has two wonderful kids, Liam and Aliza. Her hobbies are reading, going to the beach with family and friends & taking care of her awesome dogs, Bear, Layla & Willow.
Janissa Turner - Dental Assistant
Janissa recently moved to Newport News from her hometown of Lumberton, NC. She attended Fayetteville Technical Community College where she became certified in Dental Assisting in 2009. She has been working as a Certified Dental Assistant since graduating and joined Dr. Siragusa's team in 2013. She is interested in all aspects of dentistry. She has been married to her wonderful husband, Mitchell, for 22 years and together they have a very energetic 6 year old little boy, Cody. In her spare time she enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Melissa Evans - Treatment Coordinator Missy is a Newport News native, graduating from Menchville High School in 1993 and attended CNU and TNCC. She worked in a salon from 1993-2003 until her dentist and client opened her eyes to the dental field. She has been in the dental field since 2004 & has experience in every aspect of the field from assisting to managing a practice.
Frances Siragusa-Office Manager Frances, a lifelong native of Hampton, has been married to Dr. Joe for 26 years. She graduated from VCU where she received a B.S. in Biology. When she realized how hard it was to get a job with a B.S. in Biology, she attended MCV and graduated with a degree in Clinical Lab Science. Frances worked at the McGuire V.A. hospital as a microbiologist for 5 years until she decided to work with her wonderful husband! She has been working in the dental field for 17 years. Like Chaun & Darcy, Frances is also a Sagittarius & enjoys the beach and being with her family. |
